Ink Without Judgement
We turn bare skin into personal billboards—loud, quiet, or somewhere in between.
Our artists are fluent in linework, color theory, and respectful collaboration. Expect a studio that smells like sterile procedure and thoughtful art, not ego. From scripts to sprawling sleeves, everything starts with a conversation and ends with a grin in the mirror.
Who are we?
Altered Tattoo is a small collection of local artists newly established in small town Arcanum Ohio. Originating from a simple haircut our residing owner/operator Indiana cruised into Fade the Grain barbershop to get his cut right and the rest is history. After meeting owner/operator Aaron Letteer of Fade the Grain an alliance was formed and space was rented therefore nestling Altered Tattoo Co right into the same building perfectly next to Fade the Grain. Equally incredible, the lovely Reba has also graced the shop with her presence and her extensive knowledge in the piercing realm of body modifications. Along with Indiana and Reba came Scout, another exceptional local artist, and Jess our tattooer in training.
Each of our artists and piercers offer extensive knowledge in their crafts and take leaps and bounds in attempts to create a safe and fun environment in which anyone and everyone is welcome to come and express themselves.
Show us how we might help you do so with whatever altered dreams you might have in your fantastic mind.
The experience here is unparalleled, the art sought after, and the community accounted for.
